Golf Etiquette & Important Notices in Japan
Important: Please review and understand these guidelines before booking. A course may refuse or discontinue play for rule or etiquette violations without refund of green fees. Guests may be held responsible for damage caused to the course or other players.

Golf courses in Japan place great importance on etiquette and consideration for fellow players.

Follow the course dress code. Wear appropriate golf clothing and a collared shirt; bring a jacket where required (often except in summer).

Wear soft-spike or spikeless golf shoes. Metal spikes are prohibited.

Do not let photography or filming delay play or disturb others.

Aim to complete each nine holes in approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, and keep up with the group ahead.

Rake bunkers and repair your divots and ball marks.

Read and follow each golf course's local rules and regulations.
